Obi-Wan Kenobi / Image Engine

Recently, I had the opportunity to work on the Disney+ series OBI-Wan, which is set in the Star Wars universe.
I worked at Image-engine, a visual effects studio based in Vancouver, Canada, where I was part of a team responsible for creating the lighting and shading of the digital environments and characters.

Our team worked closely with the directors, production designers, and VFX supervisors to bring the world of OBI-Wan to life. We used a combination of 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting techniques to create the iconic Star Wars look.

One of the challenges we faced was to make the digital environments and characters look realistic and believable, while also staying true to the original Star Wars aesthetic. We spent a lot of time fine-tuning the lighting and shading to achieve the desired look and feel.

Overall, working on OBI-Wan was an incredible experience for me. It was a pleasure to be part of such a talented team and to contribute to a beloved franchise like Star Wars. I'm proud of the work we did and I hope the fans of the series will enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Thank you for listening. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about my work on OBI-Wan or about the field of lighting and shading in VFX.
